Mothers Day

My first Mother's Day was simple but nice! Charlie made breakfast (waffles!) for me complete with mimosas.

Then we went on a walk and a picnic for lunch. I love picnics so this was great. Paisley forgot to mind her manners though and stole a piece of Josie's cheese and a piece of dark chocolate (which Charlie quickly wrestled from her jaws). In the afternoon I relaxed while Jos napped and then Meg came over (she was staying the night) and Charlie made dinner. I received four sweet cards (from Charlie, J&P, Meg and my parents) and two beautiful bouquets of flowers.

I'm so thankful for those two who make me a mommy (and a fur mommy).
